There's a new controversy on the GSN Boards regarding its popular feature "Black & White Overnight" (airs at 1:00am-3:00am(P)-4:00am-6:00am(E)) when the new schedule is released on October 13 and possibly another schedule change around sometime in November which it could possibly be reduced to one-hour to make room for "Infomercials" (Paid Programming) by adding an extra hour!
No one knows for sure why GSN's doing this, but we game show fans, like everyone knows they have a right and a duty to make money because the game show libraries are expensive to maintain and it costs to tape transfer all the shows onto a higher quality digital format, among other reasons.
Would you continue to watch "Black & White Overnight" on GSN even if it's to be reduced to one-hour in November? Is there something about the change that concern's/scares you? Would you like the network to move it to, say, Midnight-2:00am(P)-3:00am-5:00am(E) than "paid programming" for the next four hours late-night/early morning?
Let the people at GSN know how you feel about the possible change. When you email them, please be kind, curteous, and let them know how much you love "Black & White Overnight" every night. Please, do not raise hell and say things like, "You stupid idiots!" , "I hate you, GSN!", etc., I mean, it won't get you anywhere, maybe in cases some big trouble.
I encourage all new members to my boards to write them (kindly) and let them know about the proposed cutbacks to Black & White Overnight.
To get in touch with GSN via email: programming@gsn.com. Be sure you put "Save B/W Overnight" in the subject line as an attention-getter as an example. If you want to get in touch via "Snail mail, Their address is:

Hey, if more people write and the response is overwhelming, maybe the programming department at GSN may reconsider this decision.
Remember, Black & White shows like To Tell the Truth, What's My Line? I've Got a Secret, Password, etc., are a part of television history, part of America's heritage and are also important documents to television's past.
Those of you have your own message boards, I will permit you to let your members know about the future of "Black & White Overnight" (you have my permission).
Any further developments regarding the pending change(s) to B/W Overnight will be updated here in the Black & White Game Show Forums, or in the Forum Announcements section.
Together, we game show fans can make a difference! If you just sit there and do nothing, you'll get nothing! Show your love for the most important documents of televisions glorius past: Black & White Game Shows!
Support and Save the classics!
