ONCE AGAIN, IT'S TIME TO VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE SONGS!
I started this project in 1998 in an attempt to keep the feel and excitement of the WABC "Top Hits" year-end countdowns and also to find out how a true and unbiased calculation would compare to "All-Time" surveys that are featured on many radio stations during the year and especially during the holiday season.
And this year, as we undertake our eighth year of polling site visitors to determine your Top 77 favorites, we're adding some exciting changes that we believe will make this year's list more interesting and accurate than ever.
First of all, we're starting the voting earlier than ever to give site visitors more time to let us know their favorites. The voting period starts on October 4 and runs through December 11.
Secondly, at fellow "Survey Guy" Tom Natoli's suggestion (and the pleading of many voters through the years) we're accepting votes on your top FIVE favorites instead of just your three all-time favorites. This should allow for more variety and (we hope) an even more accurate reading of your favorites.
The response continues to be fantastic each year with thousands of votes coming in. What started out as a project that I could handle completely on my own has now turned into a labor of love that I could not complete without the help of Tom Natoli and several others that we will be crediting over the next few months.
So, vote today before time slips away. Votes will be counted through Sunday, December 11 at midnight. Vote ONLY for your FIVE favorite songs, preferably in numbered order from #1 to #5. The results will be published Christmas Week (just like WABC used to do with its "Top 100 Of The Year"). Please VOTE ONLY ONCE! Duplicate votes or any other attempts to unfairly affect the results will be disqualified. Thanks to our staff of internet sleuths, cheating has become quite easy to track after doing this for seven years. So, please, show respect to yourself, other voters, and the site by not attempting to stuff the ballot box.
Have fun...and may the best songs win!

As in past years, attempts to "stuff the ballot box" will be disqualified.
