Kim says she didn't give Lil' Cease permission to distribute the DVD.

A federal judge in New York has given Lil' Kim's lawyers a week to show cause why he should block a DVD by her former Junior M.A.F.I.A. cohort, Lil' Cease.
Judge Jed Rakoff told attorneys for the imprisoned Kimberly Jones he would lift the order barring James Lil' Cease Lloyd from distributing his DVD unless her they provide new and convincing evidence by Oct. 12, according to newspaper reports.
Lil' Kim filed the suit seeking to stop distribution of The Chronicles of Junior M.A.F.I.A. Part II: Reloaded, because even though she was part of the group, she said she did not give Lloyd permission to use her name and image on the cover.
The judge, however, appeared to agree with Lloyd's argument that copyright laws do not apply in this case because the DVD is a documentary about the history of the Junior M.A.F.I.A. and has news value.
Lil' Kim filed the suit just before reporting to federal prison Sept. 19 to serve a year and a day for lying to a grand jury about a shooting. Lil' Cease was one of the witnesses who testified against her.
