From the Daily News:
Boss mad? Neigh
George Steinbrenner wasn't too upset about Mariano Rivera's struggles yesterday because he was in a good mood about his horses.
One of the Boss' colts, Bellamy Road, is an early 2-1 favorite in Saturday's Wood Memorial at Aqueduct and is a Kentucky Derby hopeful.
In a move that smacks of his old revolving door for managers, Steinbrenner fired Bellamy Road's trainer, Michael dickinson, after the horse's only loss and hired Nick Zito; Bellamy Road won his first race under Zito by 15-3/4 lengths.
According to Boss spokesman Howard Rubenstein, Steinbrenner said that winning a Derby would "be equal to" the joy he feels when the Yankees win the World Series.

HOW'S THE HEAD? Derek Jeter, who went to the hospital complaining of dizziness Wednesday afternoon after a Mike Timlin pitch smacked into his helmet, will be evaluated before tonight's game. Since tests were normal, it's expected that he'll be in the lineup.
