News Changes at KNX
LARadio.com bulletin, 1.2) The familiar KNX morning team of Tom Haule and Linda Nunez will be no more as of Monday morning. Pat Duffy and David G. Hall were put in charge of the Infinity LA/AM stations a few months ago and the immediate changes were cosmetic. But beginning this weekend, the landscape of KNX changes dramatically. Seven hour talk blocks with Melinda Lee on food and Jeff Levy on computers (both from KFI) debut on the CBS news station.
On Monday, in a continuing facelift at KFWB and KNX, Dave Williams comes across the street from KFWB to co-anchor KNX morning drive with former KFI morning newslady Vicky Moore. Tom Haule gets to sleep in for the first time in years and will co-anchor middays with dick Helton. Linda Nunez moves from mornings to afternoons to team with Dave Zorn for PM drive.
In addition to the 1 - 3 p.m. Business Hour, Bob McCormick will do all morning drive business reports. Randy Riddle will do the afternoon drive business reports. And Bill Polish leaves KNX to become a daytime anchor at KFWB, effective January 12th.
